DMCA & Copyright Policy

1. Overview

RootVaultAI LLC, doing business as RegisteredBrands.AI ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This policy describes how we handle claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our DMCA Agent containing the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL, capsule ID, or specific content description).
• Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Knowingly submitting a materially false DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled, and the location at which it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the Company may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.

5. Brand Capsule Considerations

Brand Capsules contain brand names, logos, and descriptions that may be subject to trademark and copyright protection. If you believe a Brand Capsule infringes your intellectual property rights, you may file a DMCA notice as described above. However, please note that the mere registration of a brand name in our trust registry does not constitute copyright infringement — it is the use of copyrighted material (such as logos, images, or descriptive text) that may give rise to a valid claim. 6. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. A "repeat infringer" is a user who has been the subject of more than two valid DMCA takedown notices. We may also apply trust score penalties to capsules associated with copyright infringement.
